so i was driving on the hiway... doing 75 when all of a suden my rpms jumped to 5500!!! i slowed down... poped the hood and checked the trany fluid, it was fine... so i contuned on my way... a 20 mile drive in 2ed gear... it sucked.. so whats the proulbem? the truck has 115,000 miles on her and hasn't had a flush. what am i looking at when i take it in tomorrow? as far as $$$ is it time to trade my baby in on a newer model? fix it? or something elce... open to any imput...
