yeah it does. You have about 16 quarts of transmission fluid. Then the rear end oil plus labor and all. That a realistic dealer price.

Yes, that's actually a pretty good price compared to around here.

Just the rear is $125 here with aftermarket fluid, $145 with Motorcraft fluid and modifier. I didn't price a tranny exchange because I have a stick........

Royal Purple fluids:

ATF 14 qts @ 12.99 per = 181.86
75W140 gear oil 3 qts @ 15.99 = 47.97

$229.83 alone, just for the fluids. If your price includes labor & parts, then go for it. Maybe it's just cheaper to have the dealership do it with the Motorcraft fluids.

i just had the goodyear place do it for me last earlier this week and with tax it cost 137.48. They put Castrol Mercon V in it. But that was just transmission everyone around here wants 90.00 to do rear end

rear..

dont forget that Ford puts a special friction modifier in their rear ends which costs about 20 bucks.. I always just take it to the dealer for these things because Jiffy Lube and other places often times dont know about these things..

Tranny

Hi
I had my tranny fluid replenished back in the summer&the cost quoted here is about right.I would never bring my truck to a Jiffy Lube for service.Make sure they drain&replenish the torque converter too.Regards,Pete
