1985 aod
Ok here goes I have a 85 f150 2 wheel dr with a aod in it
it started shifting funny like took a while to shift up from low and now it feels like you have the brakes on when you try to back have almost floor it and than it moves like it should and than like ya hit the brakes
have drained the TC already and am getting ready to do the pan drop as soon as i can get the cross menber moved back to get to thos 2 bolts(what idiot thinking when they did that did that)so my big ? is how do you clean the Valve Body with out messing it up(like what should use as a cleaner or not)
thanks for any and all help(i once rebuilt the trans in my old jeep bu gutting a caddie trans and putting it in the jeep trans use the tail shaft from the jeep and hey its still on the road from what i hear 10 years later)

Ok git the new filter on refilled with 10 qts of fulid run thur the gears backed it off the ramps backed down the dr way all good put in low drove a few feet and shifted it all good little slip drove bout a mile and turned around back in to the dr way parke put in reverse woked ck fulid leve shut it off went back out 10 mins later put in reverse went bout 2 feet and just like slaming the Brs on and keeps doing few feet back wards and stops

what year trans will fit this truck I have a lead on a 1990 f 250 trans out of a std cab fit my
85 super cab what is the 10 1/2 talil shaft dif from the 11 1/4 one was one for the super cab also will one out of a 351 w (i think) fit it have a good deal on both of them outher than a long drive for the 86 351 one
