I was under my 03 F150 yesterday inspecting everything and noticed small cracks on the bottom of the tranny.I originally thought that the fluid on the drain bolt noticed the fluid was red,so some how the tranny fluid is getting on the oil drain bolt area and I wonder if it's from the cracks.Anyone have this problem?

 

mostly lifted trucks and hard offroad use get this problem...... if it's cracked. the gm allison guys really start to cry when they crack theirs. bad lifts, bad news.

 

My truck is lifted and sees moderate offroad use but is never abused so are cracks going to be a serious problem?
