transfer case questions
is the t-case behind a 4r70 the same as the one behind a 4r100
if not what are the differences

yes, it is the Borg Warner 4406 on all 97-03 F-150's. I'm not sure if the superduty-equipped 4R100's came with something else, however.

are the output shafts of the transmissions the same diameter and spline
