Slight hesitation going into 2nd at WOT.
I Just installed 42# injectors along with a Lightning 90mm maf, on top of the D1SC procharger, and of coarse I had Troyer send me a tuner with a custom tune installed for the aftermarket equipment.
The tune seems spot on, but now with the increased shift firmness from the SCT tuner, a slight hesitation and then a hard shift into second at wot has become more noticeable now, but it has always done this, but now with more power and firmer shifts it's more prevalent than before.
Today I drained the torque converter and changed the oil and filter, and while I was in there I checked the accumulator springs that have been known to go bad and they were fine. Afterwards I took it for a test run and it feels the same as before, but with a little more piece of mind, as the oil had 81K on it.
Do you guys think a Trans go "shift kit" would help my issue, as I wouldn't mind performing this mod myself, and at less than 120 smackers, it's not too hard on the wallet, if it helps?
