Transmission drop out?

Transmission drop out?

ive heard that a programmer will make it feel like your tranny dropped out?

is this true?

What the hell?
No tuners don't break your transmission... they make them shift a lot firmer and more efficiently. Also, shift points are adjusted along with how the transmission reacts to sudden changes in throttle position and throttle position in general. Not to mention the benefits of the torque converter acting properly.

that's the exact point I argued against my friend that's more efficent and you adjust shift points and he said no it sucks but I think he messed up his truck haha

But anyways thanks guys

Oh and are custom tunes worth it and who do you recommend?

Custom tunes are definitely worth it. I have a custom tuned XCal3 from www.VMPtuning.com and I love it.
