4R75E Complete Makeover

As I am approaching 45,000 miles on this tranny, I have decided to drop some $$$ to make it last a long time.

The current mod on it is programming from my LiveWire. Changed shift points, fluid pressure, etc.

I have just ordered 20 quarts of Royal Purple ATF MAX.
And, a Factory Tech Separator Plate,
And, a Trans Fluid Filter Kit with gauge
And, replacement stock trans filter
And a Flush Valve.
And a Mag-Hytec DD Trans Pan.

(Source for most: www.BlueOvalSite.com)

A question for the transmission pioneers...

Techs @ BlueOval say to have the trans programming remove from the programmer, because the Separator plate does all of that mechanically.

Also, comments within the Filter Kit literature say that the gauge will read incorrectly(too high-replace filter), because fluid pressure is boosted by the tuner.

My plan is to install all of this, fill with MERCON V and ensure that I like shifting, then take the truck to a trans shop and have them flush the whole system, and put the ROYAL PURPLE in.

Has anybody used tuner trans mods with a separator plate?

I have a completely modded valve body, tuner, dd Maghytech pan, and filter.

In regards to the tuner, the valve body works so well I can back the line pressure off quite a bit now. I used some really nice Schaeffer oil and my trans temps seem to be lower now.
