Factory Tech E4OD / 4R100
I know I'm playing with an older truck, but I just ordered a Factory Tech Acc. Body for my 98 E4OD. Troyer doesn't carry it anymore, said they had support issues. They recommended Chickenears. I ordered today and they have already shipped it! I might have tried the Transgo kit but my transmission man said that my acc. body had worn bores and it would cost more to replace it and add the shift kit than to just get the whole thing from Factory Tech.
Just wanted to add that Troyer and Chickenears both have great customer service.

playin with an older truck? Heck I have a 98' and i've been playing with it since day 1! I have a transgo kit in my e4od and love it. also have a 2000rpm billet stall, but its a good tranny, you will be happy
Hey Built54, off topic but saw that you had a write up on a PI head swap from an older post. Any chance you still have that? I'm waiting on a buddy (Ford Tech) to pick up a 99 5.4 for me. I plan on having the heads redone and doing the swap. Any helpful pointers would be appreciated!
Thanks
Thanks
Put the Factory Tech Vavle Body in Tuesday at my buddy's tranny shop. This solved my sloppy shifting. It will chirp my 32 inch tires on the 1-2 and squeals my serp belt (brand new Gates) on the 1-2 and 2-3 shift. It is a little firmer at light throttle than I thought it would be. Full throttle is perfect though. I have an Xcal 3 that I'm having a custom tune wrote for to make the light throttle shifts a little softer. My buddy drove it and said that it would help the trans last longer due to eliminating the slipping. I just hope that the tune can soften the light throttle shifting somewhat.
