XL3P-HB is a 4R100 for a 99 Expedition 4x4 with a 5.4.

I have 1998 Ford F-150 with a 5.4 V8 Triton by Fuel. It has a 4r100 transmission. When I start it and put it in any one of the four years it does nothing but when I put it in reverse reverse works fine. I was going to rebuild but I have limited money and still do, so I bought a 1999 Ford Expedition 4r100 transmission for $125. What do I have to do for this transmission to work on my 1998 F150 that has a 4r100 on it. I can tell already off of the top that the tail shaft cover is different and the tranny itself overall may be different in length I'm not 100% sure but I am going to post this didn't get the specs and repost if I have other facts about it already that I know.
