I'm running an '03 Scab, FX4, 4.6, 65,000Km.
The usual, Edge, K&N, Flowmasters. Runs great, however...
I usually have the Edge set on towing.
While driving at hiway speeds, when you slow down to say high 40's, low 50s (MPH), and are just coasting, when i just put my foot on the pedal to accelerate ever so slightly (like if you were trying to maintain a low hiway speed behind someone), the engine starts to lug like the tranny isn't downshifting. You know that sound you get if your driving a manual, and your'e in fifth, and you drop down to a to low speed, then you give it gas, and it just rattles?
I have to tap the accelerator to get it to lock up and stop lugging. Very annoying.
I hope i have described this properly.
Any ideas out there?
