Trans mount or u joints
hey how can i tell the diff between bad tranny mount and bad u joints.
whenever i accell from a stop i get a kind of thump and the back end feels like it drops kinda. i looked at the u joints and the rear end and to me they look like they always have. i tried to push up on the tail of the tranny and it dont move around.
friend says tranny mount when he rode in my truck.
97 f150 regular cab short bed 4wd. stock except a 3"body lift. and i have a limited slip but i dont think its going bad
any suggestions appreciated
