Rebuilding

Hey guys, I'm looking into rebuilding the tranny in my truck soon. I'm trying to have it "built up" to match it with my motor that will be getting the same treatment. What should I be looking into upgrading to handle some more power? I think the tranny is an E4OD, but I am not entirely sure. Should I be looking at a new Torque Converter also? And would a shift kit be a good idea also? Truck details are in my sig, thanks for the help.

A 98 with a 5.4 is just as likely to be a E4OD.
