Mazda Trans for a H.O.?

I know I saw something on this, but no matter how I word the search I have not been able to find it again.

Truck in question is a 95 extended cab 2wd with a 302 and a 5 speed.

Will a transmission from a 81 mustang H.O. motor work in the truck replacing the Mazda trans?

i dont really understand what your asking but i assume you mean replace the standerd 5.0 engine with the ho version from a mustang and if so yes it will work fine with your 5spd trans

Sorry my wording was unclear. Not wanting to know if the motor will work, but will the trans that was from a H.O. motor be able to replace the mazda trans in the truck?

sorry i somhow missed the part about the 81 mustang

im going to say no for 2 reasons 1st mustangs use a cable to acuate the clutch where as your f150 uses hydralics 2 the trans from the mustang is arguably weaker then the mazda in your truck now
