Help! How many quarts if I drain the tourqe converter when I install my shift kit?

Help! How many quarts if I drain the tourqe converter when I install my shift kit?

Man I am tired and cant search anymore, how many quarts will it take after I drain my TC and drop the valve bodies installing my shift kit? I am hoping someone while reply while I am sleeping. Besides my wife wants to kill me last weekend body lift, yesterday clayed, and wax/polished. Today I put My shift kit in after I went Muddin with her brother.....She really loves me.... I think

i'd say at least 15 to be safe

Dry fill on a E4OD is 16 quarts.

we put in about 11q of fluid and a q of friction modifier. My convertor didnt have a drain plug so only about half the convertor drained when we pulled the valve body.

It took all 16 quarts, thanks again I wouldnt have brought enough home if it wasnt for you guys.
