Check out www.factorytechtransmissions.com. you may pay a little more than Jasper but the specialized attention to Ford trans IMO is worth it.

if you have an issue under warranty with jasper they have to inspect everything and it always seems to be users error or installers fault and they dont cover it.

I have had a Jasper tranny in my truck for five years- the stock tranny failed because of my abuse, so I replaced it with a Jasper. I had three new trannys in three years go in- each one lasted about a year. Every time Jasper replaced it with no expense to me. I recently found out from Mike Troyer that the reason I was having rapid repeat failures was because I didnt change my tranny cooler with the new tranny's, and they where contaminating the new trannys as soon as I ran them.

The last one just came back with a report from Jasper: there was coolant in the tranny so they arent covering labor on it, but they still gave me a brand new transmission to replace it becuse my radiator was leaking coolant into the ATF causing it to fail.

While I had that out I did a Lightning motor swap, and switched to a 4r100 transmission to handle the new power. I went with Jasper again for the new one. IMO its well worth it for a 3 year/ 100,000 mile warranty.

By the way, if anyone is interested I still have a brand new Jasper 4r70W im not using.....

Since the warranty wont transfer to the new owner I figured a little less than half what I paid would be fair so I've been asking for $980. I live in Bellingham, WA 98225. If you want to check out freight shipping, call the guys at Fairpriceshipping.com- every time Ive shipped freight, they have cost me half what I was quoted by everyone else.
