'94 Auto to 88 5-speed swap?

I have a donor '94 with auto (I believe it is A4OD or E4OD- it has the OD button) and my daily driver '88 5 speed. They are both 4x4, but the 94 has a 351 and the 88 has a 302. Will the tranny swap with current bellhousing, driveshaft, transfer case etc? And is it possible to get a floorshifter for it?

Thanks guys

Same bell housing, and transfer case. Holes for the M5OD-R2 crossmount are in the frame.

One thing you will need to get is a 351 flywheel from a F-250 or 350. The 302 flywheel will not work.

What are the cab and bed configurations of both trucks?

I think he's talking about putting the auto in to the truck that has the manual. NOT possible unless you like headaches and wiring nightmares.

Yeah I want to go manual to auto. The '94 is an extended cab short bed and the '88 is a reg cab longbed. As far s wiring nightmares- would it be better to find an AOD- same questions as before as far as hooking it up.

Ahhh, my bad, read it too quick.

Not really a bolt in job to use the E4OD. Computer and wiring would do ya in.

Get an AOD donor from a '85 to '93 F-150 with the 302, or '85 to '91 Bronco with a 302. You'll also need the TV cable and throttle body connection.
