88trans-2-95block?
will an 88 5-speed trans fit on a 95 motor 4.9l inline six?

any feed back appreciated

Not 100% certain, but it should. There weren't any significant changes made between the 87-91 and the 92-96 generations. Also, doubt that the 4.9L was modified any.

Any 240, 300, 289, 302, and 351w block/tranny combo will interchange. Unless your 88 was a 460 or diesel, you're good to go.
