I searched awhile for a thread on this, but I just bought a 2005 FX4 Crew, and the plastic chrome shifter plug on the floor shifter fell off. It's held on by 3 poorly engineered tabs, and I was wondering if there are any aftermarket ones out there, and/or how much do these cost at the dealer.

Well, I learned today that Ford does not stock the little 3 tab plastic chrome cover by itself. The entire shifter must be replaced, and the part is $53. Luckily, my bumper to bumper warranty took take of it.
