Vibration 4.2 V6
Vibration 4.2 V6
Hi everyone,
I hope I can get an answer to my question here is the story to this title. I own a 1999 Ford F150 with a V6 4.2 the motor was seized because it blew the intake gasket and water got in the lower end of the block. Now I rebuild the motor it is running smooth but there is a vibration when press on the gas to 1100 to 1200 RPM's any other is smooth idle you can not feel the motor at all. When I removed the motor I had to pull out the torque converter but then the motor could not come out because the converter was to long did not clear the firewall and then I had to remove the bolts that hold the it to the flywheel in the air but remember I could not spin the motor at all it was stuck so once I go my hands and removed it then I put a pad that was about 4 inch thick and I droped the converter and it hit the ground but not hard I do not think can that unbalance it and that is the problem??? I also check compression on all piston and vaccum etc. and she is smooth and not codes at all. I hope some one can tell me what I can check before I go and get a converter or help me balance it. Thanks to all.

If anything, you probably should have originally posted it in the V6 section.

I know that I am post this again but me think it maybe be a transmission problem I would like to see if anybody had this problem before I would like to see the input of other people and remember not everyone see this psoting on the engine and the next area I will try is what you told me the V6 4.2
Thanks
