4x4 shifter help

hey, on my 2000 f150 i have the manual 4x4. it really puts up a fight to put it in compared to other f150s i have driven. does anyone know where i can grease it and what kinda grease i can use. i looked in the manual and found nothing. thanks

Which manual? The maintenance manual that came with the truck should list every lubricant the truck needs, where it goes, & how often to apply it.



IDK if yours is the same, but the '93-96 shifters are known to be VERY delicate if they're neglected, so I'd be careful about forcing it.

i have a 2000
ive looked through the maintenance manual several times and it says nothing about greasing the 4x4 shifter
