oss test procedures?

oss test procedures?

still having the P0722 code on the 99 v6 auto f150 2wd. was wondering if anyone out there has a way to test the oss and vss with a multi meter or labscope? what are acceptable parameters etc.... ive been searching for hours now online and search engines are not what they used to be. thanks for any help.

The OSS resistance should be 450-750 ohms, but you need a scope or true-RMS meter to check its frequency while driving. A ScanGauge or other scanner that can monitor the OSS PID will also do it. The freq should increase smoothly & proportionally with vehicle speed.

i have a snap-on vantage and access to a modis. ill give it a shot, thanks for the info
