Overdrive off

Quick question - When driving around town (speeds less than 50) I typically turn the OD off on my 2001 F150 SC, because I don't like it dropping into OD and lugging (takes away from throttle response). Am I doing potential damage by locking out OD under these conditions?

Thanks,
Brad

You're only damaging your fuel economy. It won't hurt anything on the truck.
