filter and fluid change 2003 the top fell out

I believe I have an 4r70w and when I pulled the pan a plastic piece shaped like a top with a o ring around the circumference fell in the fluid. I don't know where it goes. Any help ?

Don't worry, it just means the pan has not been dropped before.

thanx guys. i just dropped the trans pan on my 04' and almost shat myself when i saw the plug-looking-thingie in there
