Hello, I am new to this site.

I bought an 01 F150 V6 5 speed about a week ago. It doesn't have a tach and I wondered if it had a shift light as I have had other manual trans in the past with them This one doesn't appear to have one. Anyway I was parked at the store waiting on my wife with the accessory on listing to the radio and notice the actual shift light on the insterment panel would just flicker on and off while the key was turned back. I know this can not be normal and wondered if anyone else has seen this?

My 03 does not have a shift light - the only light I have that flashes is the theft light.
