Guys, I'm tooling around with a 04 f-150 screw 4x4 and noticed I had a floor console with the floor shifter lying around. Now the 04 -f150 has the Column shifter on it and I started to look at the wiring diagram and the floor console wiring and was wondering if anyone has done a conversion from having a column shifter to floor console shifter? Also this vehicle is automatic and as all you know the center console with the shifter is for an automatic. Just wondering if anyone has tried this conversion.

It's a popular conversion on CVN, so do some searching there & read a few of the threads about it. It should be MUCH easier for you, since you'll be using the factory-correct parts.
