Howdy,

1990 F150 5.0 5 speed manual with 102K miles.

I noticed today while driving down the freeway (70MPH) that while in 5th gear the tranny sounded like I was in low 4 wheel drive. That low humming/vibrating sound.

Is this normal when shifting into over drive?

I checked to make sure my hubs aren't locked in as well.

Am I due for a tranny rebuild?
