Unhappy Gearing for tall tires

I have and 03 5.4 with 35 inch procomps. I just recently bought it and noticed it likes to jump up and down between gears on the freeway. what would be the best solution ie. re-gearing but not too drastically low to consume some of my horrible gas mileage. any comments please

I cant find the post now but I have read from a couple of people that they know someone or have themselves re-geared these trucks to 4.10's with minimal affect on MPG's. I will keep looking and post up a link if I find it.

Remember that your gas mileage isn't as bad as it appears to be if you haven't corrected your speedometer and odometer after switching to the larger tires.

I have 3.55's with my stock tires and when I step up to 35's I plan on regearing to 4.56 --- It'll put me somewhere around 3.9X's...

I have 35" Mud Terrains and 4:56's and all I do is kick myself for not doing this sooner. I actually get better gas mileage and have more seat of the pants power, since my engine actually runs in the power band now. I don't have a highway commute however. I corrected my speedo also.
