2005 Tranny Max Temp

Now that I can use my Edge display to monitor my TFT, what is the normal running range and at what temp is too high (ie. in the red zone)? Just wondering since I imagine it will rise when I am pulling a trailer this summer. Thanks in advance

Ill pull over for a while if mine gets past 220. I like to keep it below 200 at the most on a hot day.

I've always heard that if you're above boiling(for water) it's running too hot and you should either stop for a while, or seek a better tranny cooling device. Even though tranny fluid doesn't boil until much, much hotter than the transmission will ever reach.

Say around 210 or so. Reaching 200 on a hot day in normal driving is not uncommon.
