How do I find out for sure what trans I have?
2003 F150 FX4 with 5.4 VIN code 'L'
Does a SuperChips 1715 display the trans temp like other programmers that I can use while towing?

Transmission identification data is NOT encoded in the VIN ("L" indicates your engine, not the tranny).
Look on your door jamb sticker under TR"
Possible valid codes for MY 2003 with automatics are: 7, E, or U.
