I have an 02 L w/39k that started shuddering when coming to a stop sign/light or simply letting off the gas. She's bone stock, no mods. I've got the truck in December and have put about 5k on her since. Checked the tranny fluid which looked/smelled good and the level was good. I've been told it's the torque converter. Is there any way to tell for sure without taking everything apart? Has anyone else had a similar problem?
