Unhappy Laboring in Overdrive

I have a 2002 F150, 4.2v6 with the auto tranny. Going down the highway at 65 mph, I am getting a vibration in the steering wheel and gas pedal. It feels like the motor is laboring at 65 (about 1800 RPM) which is what it has always run at. If you let off the gas it feels like the brakes are being put on. This is new, had to change the intake insulators, u-joints, and tranny filter and fluid about a month and a half ago, and was fine till about 2 weeks ago. Could too much tranny fluid cause this? Also, brakes and E-Brakes are not hanging up, so I am at a loss. Any help would be great...Thanks
