overdrive klunk

posted another thread about a klunk when i let off the accelerator going between say 20 - 50 mph and got some great response's from this site. Here is something I found out last night driving home, it seems that it will only make that klunk and jerk when my transmission is in the overdrive position, I drove home last night in Drive and it ran pretty good. What is this telling me about this problem, could it be an issue with the overdrive band in the tranny? Does this make any sense to anyone, I am not very savvy when it comes to transmissions so any advice here would be a very big help.

it could be and must likely is that you just need a tune up.
if your plugs are going bad and the engine is running in the low end of RPM and it is in overdrive it will do it.
i have an '03 and it was doing the clunk thing when driving in city traffic and in OD.
Changed plugs (which were supposed to be gapped at .052-.056 and were actually .062 on average) these were my second set after only 72K. It did the exact same thing before and the plugs cured it.
