Both would be in front of the radiator and AC cooler.

Here is an example albeit on my 04. My 01 was similar.

Here is my power steering cooler.

Kingfish - is that stock ??? They center the tranny cooler now ? It's twice the size of mine - yeahh centering makes for the best efficiency(it's gotta be ratted in the 90's if not 100). Wish mine was set up that way.

1. = The return line.

6. = The supply line.

I hook the air up to these two lines - back and forth until I'm satisfied, When I flushed according to the link that I referred to it freakin wasted my new filter and shoved all the contaminants into my trans - that stunk!!
But yeahh, the safe way to do it is to clean these out good in a separate process as I specified earlier.

That's prolly twice the size or more than my stocker. You must have got the tow package. Where's your capacity at including the cooler , you know off hand ? Wonder why 4R70W doesn't have a deeper pan- Glad see some improvments have taken place. Thanx for the pics.

Manual states 13.9 qts, also the trannie is the 4R75W to handle the higher torque of the 3v5.4.

if the fluid doesn't have any clutch material in it i would go ahead and change it.mine had clutch material in it and i changed it after running some sea foam in it for a while and it started slipping.that was a few months ago and i just got a ride back to work after it finally died on me.so that is no rumor or myth if it has clutch material in it just add some if its low.yeah it will go out but atleast you have a little more time to prepare.after i changed mine its just gotten worse and now it won't move at all.not even in 4 low.perfect timing too.my new cell phone is getting fed-exed tomorrow(so i got to walk to a pay phone) and x-mas is comin.woo hoo.
