Transmission control switch
Transmission control switch
The over drive button on the end of the shiffter is blinking. The Haynes book said to check the tcs. Where is it located. Can not seem to find it. The truck is a 99. As always any help is greatly appreciated.

A flashing light DOES NOT mean that there is something wrong with the TCS. It means there is something wrong with the transmission, and that a code is stored in the computer's memory to tell what's wrong.
Get the code read before doing any repairs, or you will waste a lot of time and money.
