vibration at 73-78mph??
vibration at 73-78mph??
cost me lik 216 with tax... will hold up to the power i will be making shortly. now my only vibration is 73-78mph roughly but only does it when u give it gas. so its likely going to be the torque convertor. but no vibrations anymore and i peged it out and then some and no problems. its 3.5" diameter 14 gauge steel shaft.. stock was weak aluminum. steel one weighs about 4-5 lbs more. but thats good cause its stronger and heavier driveline components help your momentum for launching.

yah it probabaly needs to be checked lol just awkward i get a new driveshaft from it being slightly bent and it cause hella vibration at 85+ now i get a driveshaft built that is damn near perfect and its got a vibration at a certain mph range.. if its not the toroque convertor shuttering its probabaly gonna be the diff
problem is driveshaft harmonics... it wasnt harmonicly balanced ... so ive gotta get that fixed but thats easy/cheap fix.. place in dallas only charge 30 bucks for balancing
hmmm...
I've had a vibration around 45 mph for several years now - everyone said it was the tires, which I knew was a load of BS. I walways thought it was a harmonic oscillation possible in the driveshaft. I considered replacing it but never thought about taking it somewhere to see if it could be balanced...
...now I have to find a place around Indy that balances driveshafts
