That doesn't sound honest to me, it sounds like you want us to help you steal from U-Haul.

well the speedo has to gets it information from somewhere mechanically on the engine. I could care less if it throws a code.

So you're poor and don't have the money to do what you want, when you want. You must feel that this gives you the right to steal from someone that has what you want instead of working hard and saving enough money to do it.

You sound like an antisocial loser that belongs in prison, not out with decent, law abiding people.

Grow up and get a job, or if you acually have one, work more hours, or get a better job, or get a second job. There are ways to get through life without stealing.

There is a serious side effect to disabling the speedo on these computer controled motors. The PCM needs a mph and rpm reading to control shifting and timing and mixture etc. If you disconnect whatever to stop the speedo the truck will not shift out of low and run like crap. 350 miles in low gear getting maybe 3 mpg is gonna cost you about $300 just for gas Put some tires on the Mach-1, disconnect the driveshaft and rent a tow bar, they are real cheap.

The VSS also works your ABS brakes, CC, and the trannys shifting program.

You can't disconnect it and drive the truck safely.
