I am driving a 1997 F-150 XLT with the 4.6 engine and automatic transmission. I bought this truck new and it now has 200,000 miles on it. This has been an extremely reliable truck and really still runs and rides like new.

I am getting ready to have the auto trans fluid and filter changed, as was done at 100,000 miles. I plan to drive this truck for a while longer yet. Is this transmission good for another 50,000 miles or are weaknesses I should have looked at while it is being serviced?
