need some help

I am looking at buying a 94 f150 302 5spd 2wd and am wondering what i need to do to put a transfer case on it so i can put the drivetrain in my 99 tj. Any help would be appriciated. Tanks

Need to know what you have for a transmission. You could need a new transmission and a t-case.

If it is an M5OD then you will need a 4x4 transmission. The 4x2 output shaft is too long to allow a transfer case to bolt to the adapter once the adapter is bolted onto the transmission.

Thank you very much. So it is possible with the zf to change it to 4x4? just not the m5od

No, you need a 4x4 ZF or M5OD to bolt a xfer case directly.
