Unhappy TQ Problems! Help!

Okay, I have a 93 F150 4.9 with the E4OD transmission. My torque convertor blew up so I replaced the part, a new seals. I put it all back together and the truck won't start. It turns over but very slowly, like something is dragging it down and keeping it from starting. What could be wrong??? Please Help!!

Sounds like the converter isn't in all the way. Did you have clearance between the converter and flexplate or was it tight?

Everything is tight. It all bolted up just fine and straight. I primed the converter and slid it onto the input shaft, changed the filter and gasket then put the trans back on and bolted up the tq, added fluid and tried to crank it and like I said, it turns over, just very very slow, never fires, and then about every 1 full rotation, it seems like something gets stuck and it stops.

It cranks like the battery is dead or almost dead to give you an idea. but its not, i checked it first.

Tight is the problem, the converter was not fully seated. When you install the transmission to the bellhousing there should be clearance between the converter and flexplate, it should have to pull out of the transmission when you tighten the converter nuts.
