The stock gear is usually a 19 or 20 tooth gear. I had a 20 tooth with 3.55's and 29" tires. When I got 31" tires, I put in a 19 tooth gear. This corrected the speedo/odo. (my speedo was 'slower' then actual, so I needed to speed up the VSS)

With 4.88 gears and 37" tires, you are about the same as I would be with 4.10 gears.... I'd guess you will need either a 21 or 22 tooth gear.

What's the number of teeth on the gear you have in there now? How far off is your speedo now? My guess is that you are seeing higher mph and running more miles then actual, correct?
