Changing the transmission fluid in my '00 Navi. and was wondering if Mobil 1 is ok? I'm getting conflicting info as on the back of the Mobil 1 it says it's for Mercon, Dexron, and Mercon V but the manual says ones that say multi. Mercon and Mercon V are not to be used for Mercon only??

So if I can't use Mobil 1 can I use Valvoline Max Life?? Would like to get it done today and the dealer is not open......

I personally wouldnt. Just wait it out, think of how bad youd be regretting it if you killed your tranny because you couldnt wait one day.

 

If you have the 4R100, I wouldn't. Wait to use regular Mercon.
