for hesitation problem when I hit the gas while rolling. Told them bluejay432000's reply to an earlier post, and was told Ford would not approve a reflash, and the computer shows no new updates from Ford. I was told it's because instead of a throttle cable going from the pedal to the carb, there is an electronic throttle module, and thats why it hesitates. Said a reflash probably wouldn't do any good and Ford would not approve it anyways. The mechanic said all the F150's do it, as well as the new Crown Vic's and anything that has this type module. Now what can I do, any advice? Going to try calling Ford Monday, I'm sure they have a # to call for complaints. Any advice is definitely appreciated.

These trucks don't respond like the previous generation trucks, not so much because they're drive by wire, but because they're a lot heavier than the previous gen F150s with not a lot more power.
Drive by wire works fine. Every PSD since 94 has it and the only hesitation I have is from turbo lag.
Also, just nit pickin but it aint a carb, but instead a throttle body.
