Column-want shift back into park or reverse

Gear-shifter or something not working. it shifts into N-D-2-1 back up to N but not back into PARK.It does shift manually under the truck at trans. please need to fix ASAP

Probably busted the column tubes, start taking the column apart you will find the problem. Just make sure there isn't a rock or something in the linkage underneath.
