OD off / alarm light on ?
In my '06 f150, I occasionally see this happen: a few minutes after having engaged the 'OD off' button, it will disengage, and the alarm indicator light on the dashboard blinks for a few moments.
Any idea why this happens ? thanks in advance.

The flashing OD light means the PCM has detected a problem with the testing or operation of the transmission.
You're under warranty, just take it to the dealer for diagnosis and repair.
