'93 F150XLT, 2WD, 6cyl, 4sp od (overdrive on/off button on column shifter)
E4od auto trans
Trying to install replacement E4od transmission in truck. Trans is to short. Will not fit in mounts, cannot connect drive shaft to rear coupler.
Are there "models" of this unit? All I can find, looking online for more than an hour, is just listings for E4od and which vehicles they came in.

what year is the trans you are trying to put in?

you have a 2wd, make sure your trans isn't for a 4wd truck. you cannot put a 4wd trans in a 2wd truck

 

I don't know what year the trans is.
Don't know how to tell 2wd from 4wd trans, never owned 4wd
