ford racing ring and pinion

does anyone know who makes the ford racing ring and pinion sets? are they an in house thing or is it subbed out to another company?

i originally used motive gear in my rear end which set up easily and made no noises until the whole carrier broke in half 6 months ago. i put in an auburn limited slip with the same gears and it howled pretty bad. i then replaced those with yukon gears about 3 months ago and could not get them set up properly and now the ring gear is missing about 5 teeth. i think when the carrier broke the whole rear end housing twisted slightly so nothing will work.

i would like to try ford racing gears in the rear end but no one around here carries them on the shelf and i want to do it now. precision gears around here sell for about $450 which is way too much. motive gear is about $200 and it's starting to look like that is what i'm going to end up using this time.

I don't know who makes them but I'm fairly certain that Ford contracts them out. OEMs make very little these days...they spec things out and then have a supplier make most parts.
