Before I crawl under to look.... can you see the clutch disk condition from the inspection cover? Feels like the clutch is slipping at low speeds if (starting off from a stop) I want to find out the condition of the disk.

In a word, no. Start off normal and at 40 mph shift into 3rd. Floor it. You will quickly see if it is slipping.
