Need help for E4OD fluid level

Hi Guys. I am new to the forum. I drive a 1994 (302) Bronco with an E4OD tranny. I know this is the F-150 forum, but I feel like we are brothers if nothing else first cousins! Anyway it looks like a lot of knowledgeable folks here and a great place for info. I bought the Greg Evans Factory Tech valve plate and I am wondering how much fluid I am going to have to add once I drop the pan and plate. I don't have an owners manual for the truck and would also like to know what I need to add back in if I just do a pan drop and filter change (without draining the converter) for regular maintenance on the transmission. Thanks for the help.

Don't worry, Broncos welcome!

Your gonna need at least five quarts and might as well do the TC too, so just buy a case of Mercon.

Thanks Adrianspeeder for the reply-and another question for you.

Is there a good place to buy a Ford factory manual?
Thanks again,
Chip
