I have a 97 F150 with a 5.4 and the E4OD. When getting onto the freeway, it shifts from 3rd to 4th almost simultaneously. I purchased a Edge Evolution to see if that would help, but now it does almost the same thing, just at a higher shift point. Has anyone else experienced this, and did anyone get it fixed. I also ran the fault program with the Edge, and the PCM contained no faults. This thing is driving me crazy! Also, does anyone know how to correct for larger tires. I thought the Edge would do this, but turns out that it will only do it for a digital speedo, not the analog that I have. Figures!
